Four bassoons (2008)

Conflux was composed in February 2008 for the bassoon quartet Quadriga. As the title suggests the piece explores musical flow; more specifically ways in which musical material for a number of instruments of  the same timbre combine and coalesce, or conversely separate and differentiate as they flow.
